Mike's been on a business trip for a few days, so life has been quiet here. Here's my routine:
Get Up.
FEED THE CATS!
Go to the gym.
Go to work.
Come home.
FEED THE CATS!
Eat dinner.
Quilt.
Go to bed.
Feeding the cats is obviously the most important part of the day. Certainly the loudest, as Rusty has very healthy lungs and vocal cords, and believes it is his job to makes sure that feeding time is never forgotten. And Alex is always starving in the evening since Mike hasn't been around to give him snacks throughout the day. They've really got a rough life.
It's nice having a little time to myself, and more time to quilt without feeling anti-social. But it will be nice to have Mike back home, too.
