This little Bambi spent the day all alone in our yard on Tuesday. It was there when we left in the morning, and still there when I came home from work. It was just a little guy, couldn't have been more than a couple of days old. Mike kept an eye on it, but no sign of mom. The all-knowing internet told us that it very likely had not been abandoned, and to just leave it alone, that mom would come back. Sure enough, around dusk (at least 15 hours later), mom came back, Bambi got a good dinner, and off they went. (OK, so maybe she's not a very good mom yet.)
