A Little Vacation

Following my company's cost-saving policy requiring everyone to take a week of vacation in the first quarter, Mike and I were off this past week. Nothing big planned, but we spent a few days in Milwaukee for a mid-week getaway. We've got a favorite hotel and restaurant that we always go to (although the great sushi restaurant has closed), and it's close enough to be an easy drive. This trip we visited the botanical gardens at "The Domes", and took the train into Chicago for a day. The weather was pretty gloomy and wet for the first half of the trip, but got better. Now we're back home for a few relaxing days before rejoining the real world on Monday.
