Car number one

Mike suggested I blog about those seven cars I mentioned in my profile, so I'll start with the oldest. Mike has had his 1971 Mustang convertible since college. He did a lot of work on it back then, and now it's undergoing a second, more extensive restoration. Mike initially did all of the disassembly himself, and now the major body work and painting is underway at a body shop. When the painting is finished, Mike will reassemble everything, including many new mechanical and interior parts. This is a long term project, and not likely to be completed for a while. The body shop has pictures posted here, where you can see just how much work this involves.
